Rachel Mains
Hi, I'm Rachel Mains. I founded Corner Cafe Entertainment. I've been on-air with Corner Cafe Entertainment for 15 years (and counting). Corner Cafe is unique to the market and respected amongst its peers. I'm am also on-camera, voice over, print talent for Big Fish Talent Agency. I live and breathe media, communications and entertainment. My desire is to get the transforming message of The Gospel to as many who will tune-in and listen!

I always felt called to mission work...
so much so... that I moved to Argentina in 2011 to become a full-time missionary, to live and work in an orphanage. After almost a full year in Argentina, I realized my giftings and talents could not be utilized to their full capacity there. I had passions for media, arts and entertainment. I've come to realize, that I am a missionary, of sorts, to the media, arts and entertainment fields.
My first job out of college was at a Christian TV station
Working in TV production right after college was a blast. I got to see all the ins and outs of television production. I was given the opportunity to also write, produce and appear in my own television promos and appear on other TV shows, while at KWHD-TV, which I truly enjoyed.
I left the local Christian station to go work in news. I was the floor director for KWGN-TV Channel 2's morning, and nightly, newscast. I also got the opportunity to produce AM Sunday with Greg Nieto. When I returned from my mission work in Argentina, I got hired back with Channel 2 as a floor director. By then, they merged with KDVR-TV Fox News, Channel 31. So, I was working on both newscasts.
God has always opened up doors in media and entertainment. I can truly say, it is a calling!
Corner Cafe Radio got started when I left news, for the first time, to go work at Crawford Media Group. It started out as a local show, interviewing local artists. The name of the show came from my album, Corner Cafe. Yes, I am also a singer-songwriter!
Today, Corner Cafe has grown to feature artists and entertainers from all around the nation and the world. When I expanded the show and brought on my cohost, Jamie Daniel, the show saw many opportunities, including producing a TV commercial with Rocky Mountain CTN, creating a TV Pilot, with featured guest Natalie Tysdal, and making a Laugh a Latte promo at the Channel 2 news studio, with anchors Natalie Tysdal and Ernie Bjorkman.

We feature every genre of music. We interview well-know artists, such as Joel Smallbone with For King & Country, and independent artists. We also highlight more than just musical artists. We featured entertainers, such as TV & movie actors, directors, sport players, post production houses... you name it, if you are a Christian, in any area of entertainment, we'd love to have you on the show!
